| it looks like it is my DAW. I'm on midi playback and if I hit the note in the piano roll it plays almost instantaneously. |

Anyone with JS4 free version installation or usage issues, please run the manager and let it update you to Jamstix 4.0.2. If you still have any issues, post here or drop me an email. Thanks!

If you've already gotten 4.0.2, run the manager again for 4.0.3, which fixes a host data load problem. Truly apologize for all this "1.0 release" hassle!

So I finally got a windows 10 machine to try to setup Jamstix4 free and try it out....but...its not showing up in my DAW after running the installer.
I am selecting both 64bit and 32bit plugins during install and changing the install dirs to be under C:\Program Files\VstPlugins (and under 32bit PG too)...eliminating the extra level for Steinberg.
After running the installer, there are no DLL's found in the VstPlugins dir. |

| tried to install to the default location (under Steinberg). 32bit dll is installed, but 64bit bit DLL is not. Audiom8.dll 64bit is installed, but not jamstix. |

Quick fix: copy C:\ProgramData\Jamstix4\bin\64\jamstix4.dll to the desired 64-bit plugin location.

| great thanks. it works. Using it on vienna ensemble Pro on my windows machine to use within LogicPro on the mac that way. Looking forward to the upcoming mac release. |
