Just upgrading to Jamstix 4 and the manager doesn't seem to offer the option to install anywhere other than a new 'Jamstix 4 Data' directory located at a drive root.
Is it possible to move this directory after installation? |

Yes, you can do that manually as follows:
- move the 'Jamstix 4 Data folder' to the new location
- open C:\ProgramData\Jamstix4\Installer\installer.ini
- change the entry for 'DataFolder' to reflect the new location
Be aware that opening the 'Options' page in the manager and clicking OK would reset this change. We'll look into improving the manager as we go along. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks Ray,
I found that I also needed to update the
SoundFolder
entry in
C:\ProgramData\Jamstix4\jamstix.ini
Now all's working well. |

| No, Win 7 has the C:\ProgramData folder also. I think it is hidden by default though. Enable Show Hidden Folders in Windows Explorer. |

you should be able to open an explorer window and past the path:
C:\ProgramData <enter>
to get to it without having to show anything that is hidden.
