We have just been contacted by Sony concerning this issue. Hopefully we'll be able to work this out together. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Yes I deleted the 'VSTi Synth' key. It only affects Acid 4.
Thanks for helping me w/ this. Hopefully Sony wont take as long to fix this problem as they take to update Acid Pro versions. If all else fails, Ill move on and use Sonar 4. |

AFAIK, Acid only supports DirectX effects, not DirectX instruments. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Any news from Sony? Ive been posting on thier forum as well, but they are a bit on the slow side to give me the time of day. So I continue to sit here with a rather expensive home studio that I cant use right now. Sony is really starting to frustrate me. |

Sony requested a copy of Jamstix and we sent them one. Haven't heard anything back, yet. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

We've played some more here with Acid 5 Pro and JS and we can't produce the problem.
I'd recommend uninstalling/reinstalling Acid 5 at this point. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
