I like many have a bunch of drum VSTis. I usually like to start using a JS kt and then try out the findings on different drum modules. I have a couple of VSTis that don't have a MIDI map out of the box. I see the location of the drum maps is

C:\ProgramData\Jamstix4\data\midimaps

With this format, I take it the first number is the JS internal number for the sound, and the second number is the MIDI note in the VSTi? With below, D0 in BFD3 is the snare Center hit.

Charts like this have D0 as note 26. http://computermusicresource.com/midikeys.html

Is this missing below, because snare is 1 and is already at 26 and doesn't need to be re-mapped? Most of the mdmaps I have looked at don't have 1 or 7 or 8.

I'd love to create a bunch of maps, just want to make sure I do it right.

Any special notes on the Hihat section?

Thanks,

Greg
