|
|
Hi , I'm newbe and I'm trying demo .
I have made on "Manual Jam" a new simple rhythm (slow rock) : kick 1-3 , snare 2-4 , hi-hat closed on quarter 1-2-3-4 , hi-hat 3let-8 between the quarters and probability of triplet = 100%.
And now ? the fills ? what can I do now ?
Do you help me , please ?
thank. |

Here are a few things:
- You can add snare and tom accents with the sliders in the corresponding panels.
- You can adjust the cymbal usage with the 'Normal' cymbal slider
- You can place fills via the arranger as well as an intro and ending
- You can try out MIDI automation envelopes (for starters try 'Velocity' and 'Power Play') in your host to control many aspects of Jamstix throughout your song. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| I like play in real time instinctive (no place in arranger) and I press "fill" "intro" "ending" but I trigger in random mode and I don't find good fills for example. |

For what you are likely trying to achieve, you should not press Fill, Intro, Ending in the rhythm tab. Instead, click on the 'Arranger' tab, pick a bar where you'd like a fill, right-click on it and select a fill from the list. You can also preview them with the note icon.
Hope this helps _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I click on the 'Arranger' tab and I'm playing guitar (tempo of the track = 60) : instead picking a bar , I trigger the note assigned to the fills (with footswitch) in random mode.
Ok , now I have just 2 problems :
1) the fill starts in the next bar and not in the current bar (my latency is very good and I tried with another vst ).
2) I can't exclude the fills that I don't like. |

That is by design. You need to trigger a fill ahead of the bar where you want it to play. Think of it the way musicians talk to each other while jamming, for example: they announce chord changes in the bar before they happen.

Just right-click on existing fills and change or delete them (press Reset to delete) _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Sorry Ralph but I don't like this (in my hw arranger and drum machine I use to trigger the fills on the current bar).
However , I have resolved changing tempo from 60 to 90 and from 4/4 to 3/4 , kick 1 (quarter) , snare 2 (eight) , hi-hat on quarters - play on all eighths and more (good) play on all sixteenths. |
