Hello friends at the Rayzoon Forum,
I'm trying to set up a drum map in Sonar just to remap a few keys on a MIDI keyboard. I noticed that my keyboard will trigger Jamstix sounds by default even though some of the kit pieces in Jamstix do not have a "key" specified (snare and toms). I tried loading a pass through map and remapping some of the keys but it doesn't work. It produces an endless loop of noise, even the keys that I didn't remap. It only works if I start with a blank drum map, but I'd rather use most of the default mapping. I'm new to drum maps so any info would be appreciated. |

Hi, I don't use Sonar so I can't really help you there but the Snare and Toms do have an assigned note. You have to choose an articulation from the drop down for multi-articulation kit pieces to see what is assigned:
Sorry that i can't offer any more than that. |

| Thank you for the info. It appears to be an issue with Jamstix, because I tried the same drum map procedure with NI Battery and it worked fine. Any ideas would be appreciated. |
