Hi there,

given up the hope for a release of Jamstix 4 within this year (hey, that's okay for the given changes within Windows or Mac and the power of Jamstix) tried to use the JamstixManager since the release of macOS Sierra and keep "fucki'n up". Better, macOS does Wink

Failiure given is "JamstixManager quits unexpected".

It's not the little hope, that Jamstix goes to the next level, but I just want to know, if it is better to uninstall the Manager. Just for getting space Wink

Thanx for your responds.

I have posted this issue in the support forum as well.

I'm sure there will be a patch soon.

Anyone with macOS Sierra, please try the JamstixManager 1.1.7 below and let me know if it fixes the problem.

Jamstix Manager Beta 1.1.7

Thanks!

It's not working for me on 10.12.1. I'm not sure if it matters but the linked version says it's version 1.0.

Just finished installing a new machine with Sierra; after getting no love with the Jamstix Manager from my Archives I stumbled upon this thread. The above provided Manager completed the install and the install seems to be working perfectly. I was seriously fretting about what I was going to do if an OS X version wasn't still available!

Glad you got it sorted!

Here's an installation tip for those of you who are late to upgrading to Sierra (like me).

I downloaded and installed the version that's at:

http://www.rayzoon2.com/F4rT4hj34G4sluOX/JamstixManager.dmg

When the installer asked me whether I wanted to overwrite the app with the new one, I elected to keep them both. OSX then did a confusing thing:

The newer file (date stamped May 31, 2016) turns out to be the old version of Jamstixmanager and it fails when opened. That file is smaller - 2.6 mb in Finder.

The older file (date stamped Dec 23, 2013) turns out to be the new version of the app and works just fine. That file is larger - 9.3 mb in Finder.

Weird, but hey...

I imagine most of you have already upgraded to Sierra, but this might help you cautious laggards like me.
