Hello. I'm a new user, and purchased Jamstix last week. So far it seems to be doing almost exactly what I want it to do, but there's an issue I've been having with my first song using Jamstix. My work process is as follows:
-I've created basic drum patterns in Logic Pro X, and exported them as MIDI to my external drive (Addictive Drum format)
-I've created a song pattern in Jamstix (QIVPVPPBCE), Style = Import, Drummer = Steve, Kit = Big Kit XL
-Under the song tab, I select the dropdown to "load style>Import", and I choose my exported MIDI files for each song part.
Most of the song plays correctly with added accents and fills (it's really very impressive). My problem is that for whatever reason, the intro section is completely silent from Jamstix. Any thoughts on why just this one section would be silent. I've tried naming it different parts (Verse 1) for instance, and still no luck. |

| What are you looking for as far as the intro part of your song? I see that you've got a silent section beforehand. |

| The intro has some synth sounds and no drums for 8 bars. Then the intro drums start (kind of a thundering tribal beat) with no other instruments. |

| I would use a Verse (V) or Drum Solo (D) w/Import style or Tom Groove for that instead of an Intro. Intro in Jamstix uses some generators which can produce unexpected or hidden results I've found. |

Thank you for your help. I finally got a chance to try this out (sigh... life as a soccer dad/bedroom rock star). Using a solo section for the intro worked. I think I'm going to love this software. I LOATHE drum programming . Thank you again. |

| Glad to hear it worked. Jamstix has been a dream come true for me and I hope the same becomes true for you. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. |
