Hi Ralph,

I want to create some redirects and can not find a list of JS internal sound numbers i.e. JamBlock = 32. I thought I had it somewhere but I can't find it if I did. Could you help me out if it's not too much trouble? Thank you.

Hi a_zimuth

if you load a kit in JS, one way you can see this info for the loaded kit is to do a:

Show Key Map

from the drop down menu.

also in my C:\jamstix3\data\docs folder, there is a file called

jamstix3_keys.jpg

that shows this type of info for JS and JC.

Hi Brian, Thanks for taking the time to help but that isn't what I'm looking for. Those are the midi keys for the individual instruments. Jamstix uses internal numbers for the individual instrument articulations i.e. 32 = Hi Jam block, 33 = Low Jam block, 34 = Chimes & 35 = Cowbell. These are completely different from the assigned midi keys.
Ralph posted an example a few years ago about how to redirect one instrument to another using these internal numbers. I thought I had come across a listing of them somewhere and have used them often. Perhaps I just sat down one day and figured out what they were. Thanks again Brian, I appreciate your help.

So sorry, Azimuth!!
I've just PM'd you a quick-&-dirty copy/paste of the sound ID constant definitions from the code. Hope it helps!

No problem Ralph, I suspected that you've been a little busy lately. Laughing Thank you very much.
