I've filled all the bars with a skeleton basic rhythm that I'd like to ask the drummer to put his gentle touch on. How are you guys doing that?

Thanks!

I believe in the bar editor you click the drop down arrow and choose 'turn groove into style'. Then load your style and drummer.

Dont take my help as gospel and I am still learning the intricacies of Jamstix 3 as well.

Thanks, Ether_Sheets.

I just found this Jamstix Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrcn2d4PPe4 which seems to be a good start, and it also mentions some of what you said as well. So I think you are defo on the right track!

Thanks again!

Now, I wonder if there is a "Wet/Dry" kind of control ... where a low value has the style/drummer contributing only a tiny little bit to the newly created groove, and a high value would result in much more variation applied to it.

The video doesn't talk about that, it was only "Chad", not "Chad - a little bit" vs. "Chad - a lot".

Any ideas anyone?
