I did search a little for this but didn't find anything. I check this forum pretty regularly and don't remember seeing anything about it...

It seems when I open the Jamstix GUI (since either Windows 8 or 10, not really sure) the font size for the text is somewhat "random" sometimes it is really small and other times it is a normal size. Anyone else seeing this. Any known fixes?

Hi JL, yes I deal with this also in Win10 (and also in 8.1 when I ran that on my Surface). I believe it started after the Windows & OSX code was unified but I can't say for sure. Maybe it's a Win 8 and 10 problem. Display Settings> "Change the size of text......." seems to help somewhat.
I have not found a solution and haven't raised the issue in hopes that JS4 will correct the problem. Glad I wasn't hoping for a quick fix LOL.

I just thought i would add a couple more oddities i have seen recently...
I was trying to change a sound and the drop down menu which normally has something like...
Snare
Kick
Tom
Hihat
Cymbal
Etc.,
Just showed up as two or three letters followed by dots, like it thought there was not enough room for the whole word, even though there is plenty of room.
For example...
Sn...
Ki...
To...
Hi...
Cy...
If that makes sense.

Another one that seems to ALWAYS be there is when i double click on a part name to change it, and it opens up the window, when i hit the backspace key, it always deletes TWO characters, but it only seems to be the backspace key. Other keys send only one keystroke as expected.

Yes, I've got that also, except I never noticed the dots. These other issues have been raised by users on the forum before. I've just learned to cope with them I guess. Still looking forward to JS4.

I may be wrong about the dots... These anomolies have not been a big problem which is why i havent said anything earlier or paid very close attention to try to provide a detailed description. I imagine if others are seeing it too, then Ralph knows about them.

I am also anxiously awaiting JS4. I am particularly interested in this "play or tap out a rhythm on the keyboard and JS turns it into a groove" concept mentioned. I think it will be a huge helper for a complex, dynamic, hi-hat pattern.
