Ralph,
I love jamstix. And since I don't play drums, it's the only way I can program a 'realistic' drum groove. In fact, it plays better, and is more realistic than some drummers I know!
I'm guessing from the currently available styles in Jamstix that you are very rock oriented. That's cool. I grew up on it and love it. However one area that I produce/mix a lot of is Country. Not southern rock, not 2015 style Daytime country, but more traditional 2-step.Music like George Strait, Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, etc. Kick and side stick with tasty fills. Of course hundreds of other artists. (don't want to show may age here.)
I've tried turning off all the features on the different drummers in Jamstix. Tried building my own kit with just a Hat, Kick, Snare, Tom and Cymbal... but still, it's not right without a ton of fixing by hand.
So How about a Country style like Eddie Bayers? Or any one of the popular studio drummers that are Tops in session work for the more traditional country. Not country rock, or four on the floor... You know... Country Music..
I suppose creating a style isn't easy, but I believe it would round out Jamstix in a way that might bring more users in that genre.
Thanks for your consideration, and a great product!

Charlie is the one I start with generally. But also I've been just making my own pattern and using it for simpler stuff. Still, it over does does it for simpler stuff. _________________ JS3.6.1 Reaper x64

(with my purchase)
I can't believe that Jamstix 3 still lacks even one Country/ Nashville session drummer.
C'mon, Ralph, get on the stix! |
