Until JS4 comes around im now using the drummer in Logic Pro X.
Its very easy to use and with the "follow" function for kick and snare its quite powerfull.
Good to hear there will be news about JS4 this month. I sure will pick up JS again when its released. |

I'd pay a good chunk of money for an upgrade to Jamstix 4, if it resolves the issues with Live Jam in combination with Ableton on a Mac. That is the _sole_ additional feature that motivates me.
Nobody creates software like this solely for the sake of money. However, it has to be difficult laboring on a new version without knowing whether people out there are willing to pay for an upgrade--it becomes essentially unfunded development, or a resource bottleneck. Especially when the whole plugin infrastructure in OS X is drastically different, requiring lots of rewriting.
So I just want to register my willingness to financially support--I don't care what the upgrade policy was in the past--I'd pay full price a second time to get something that works stable with Ableton on Mac. I'm sure there are many others willing to do so, in exchange for gaining various other features/support/bugfixes.
I just have _that_ much better fortune getting audio running at low latency on a Mac--even a Hackintosh--than when running Windows--even on the same hardware (see previous mention to Hackintosh). Also tried on a real top of the line Macbook Pro
I did reinstall Windows and verify that live jam works perfectly in Ableton on Windows, however at much higher audio latency. The whole reason I ended up moving to Macs and OS X for a while was to try solving the stable low latency problem.
I'd even be quite willing to sign up for a subscription on top of a purchase price, to make sure resources keep flowing to Rayzoon Technologies after my initial purchase. And I'd do this _now_, just in exchange for the continued service of JS3. I'm sure there are others that feel the same way about _this_ too. |

I have to say that Jamstix has changed my life. I MEAN IT...
While I cannot wait for JS4 to come out, I love JS3.
Any chance I get to tell someone about Jamstix, I do it. I am typically a pretty reserved person and do not speak unless I have something to say. I would scream from the rooftops how much I love Jamstix.
I do not have a tattoo but if I ever decide to get one it will be Jamstix related because it means that much to me.
I am waiting patiently for JS4 and when the day comes, I will jump for joy.
Thank you so much Ralph for such an incredible tool.

Ralph- you know that you have the support of all of us that have been here from the start. You continue to innovate and make the product better with each release. I can think of no harder working, more responsive dev than those of Rayzoon. Having said that, I'm ready for the beta forum to get active whenever you are!
Thanks for all you have done and continue to do. I can't wait to see what is next!

Just be patient guys, I'm betting when JS4 does come out, it's gonna kick ass....JS3 is great, & I can only imagine what JS4 will be like, especially with the user's input that Ralph takes into so much consideration. He really does listen to his customers, & tries his best to make 'em all happy (which really isn't possible, but he does a damn good job at it IMHO)...
Patience guys, patience!!!!!! |

yeah, its my first post here too, just got to say have been using JS since version 2 and couldn't do without it. It would take me months to program drums to have a live feel like jamstix delivers just by twiddling a few buttons. Im quite happy working on some tracks with it for my next release and looking at getting some more add-on from the store to add more drum styles to my tracks. Cant beat 50% off too. Whenever JS4 comes it will be awesome and will get it but truthfully im getting along with JS3 fine for now.
Jamstix has always been very stable to me, in the end its how your DAW and workflow is setup which causes problems and Im glad I dont have a MAC, its easy to see the latest version is causing problems for a lot of applications and hardware elsewhere |

| Hi spikey, After all of the time and effort Ralph and the crew invested into putting out the OSX version, that's a pretty safe bet. LOL |
