Jamstix infant here.

Searched the forum for 'solo+mixer+track' and 'solo+mixer' without luck.

How do you solo a track in the mixer? I see you can mute tracks, but cannot figure out how to solo.

Thanks.

There is no SOLO button in the mixer but you can solo a kit piece by doing CTRL+Click on the piece.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Since ... as best I understand ... some of the different kit pieces share channels, it would be nice to be able to easily identify what goes to what channel.

Soloing a channel really helps with setting the EQ and Compression.

Can you Cntrl+Click on multiple kit pieces so you could solo all sharing a chanel?

The solo function of the virtual kit only supports one kit piece. You can see what pieces are routed to each channel when you hover the mouse over the channel number in the mixer.

Also, if you don't use Downmix and have separate audio returns in the host for each Jamstix channel, you can solo them in the host.

That's what I needed to know.
