Hi, very newbie here and I suspect the answer to my question will be very simple, but I haven't seen it in the manual.
My song does not begin on bar 1 in the DAW ( Cubase 8, ) it begins on bar 9. How do I manage this offset? |

| Create an 8 bar part (use any combination of length and repeats that makes sense to you. I use length=1,repeats=8 but thats just me) with the drummer and style set to "silent". Make sure Tf and Rf are unchecked for the silent section. |

| I've got my head around this better now. It's best to insert a part of the required length using "Q" in the wizard. |

| Please excuse the late revival but I think it's relevant to point out that this remedy is also necessary if you have a bar offset defined in your Cubase project setup. |
