| When I locate to a specific bar in the Cubase AI8, Jamstix locates to one beat before. I've tried removing the zero offset and separately locating host and Jamstix to bar one beat one, but it's always shows one beat out of sync when I park the host at later measure. This makes it difficult to edit the current host measure, as Jamstix thinks its still on the previous measure. I only noticed this when I started looping the editor when the host is parked. Oherwise, playback is synced correctly. |

Just to make sure: there is no offset when Cubase is playing, right? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

There is no offset when playing back the Cubase host. However, I've since discovered consistent problems after opening the Cubase key editor for a MIDI part and closing again. Jamstix seems to lose host location, parked or playing back. Sometimes Jamstix will indicate a large measure number when Cubase indicates 0 and not sync at all.
When I open a different Cubase file, the problem goes away, even the pickup beat offset when parked. So, the problems appear to be related only to opening the key editor in Cubase AI8 v. 8.0.10
Just to check, I created a Groove Agent instrument track to see if I could reproduce the problem there, but GA syncs ok even after opening and closing the key editor.
Thanks. |
