Jamstix is great, but it often refuses to play more than a measure at a time before the song just stops playing and I need to restart the song again, and each time this happens, Logic stops and thinks for a bit, it makes it really hard to get anything done. Sometimes it will stop playing, repeat what it just played a bit, and then stop again.

I've got about 70 gig free on my hard drive, 12 gig of RAM, and the buffers in Logic are set high (I/O Buffer Size 1024). Not really sure how to check CPU load, or what to do about it if it's overloading it. Ideas?

I also occasionally see an error message saying something about difficulty trying to sync audio and midi, check for conflict between logic and external device. This only happens when I'm using Jamstix.

Make sure the Jamstix track is NOT highlighted in Logic before you hit play. This should smoothen things out. If that does not help, please email me ~/Music/Jamstix3/rzdlog.txt
