strange buzzing every so often with gui changes
whenever I move the window in reaper, or change a parameter, etc...
jamstix seizes up the audio buffer. It doesn't actually get recorded or captured but it is on the output.
the buffer gets stuck so it stops the entire project periodically. |

i have this same issue. it happens quite often. i try to stop playback before moving the GUI. it also happens when i close the GUI. only happens when using the JS GUI.
Ralph let me know if you want the files from my system and I can send them as well.

Jason, please do this:
With Jamstix up but DAW stopped, go to task manager, right-click on jamstix3.exe and set priority to 'High'. Does it still buzz that way? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

ok, this is odd. It only happens when BFD3 is on.
It doesnt happen with BFD3 on its own.
It happens ONLY when moving jamstix controls.
but it doesnt happen when im driving steven slate drums no matter what i change/
When I have BFD3 but NO jamstix, this doesn't happen, no matter which plugins I alter.
there is SOMETHING happening between the interaction of jamstix and BFD3.

| high priority might change it - but it doesnt stop it. It seems to do it less. |

We're looking at this and Jamstix 4 should improve this issue significantly. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

yeah, but jamstix 3 is non-functional with a major 3rd party software!!!
You know you have my upgrade, but I don't think it should wait for v4...
just my opinion. Either way, I'll be upgrading... |
