Trying to install on Mavericks 10.10. After completing the install of all the package in Jamstixmaniager I am no able to get it to actually start. I have two apps, one is the jamstixmanager and the other is jamstix. Near term I wanted to use it in live mode, and all I can do is get an audio plugin popup saying version 3.6.1 with no plugins loaded. I did a ps looking for jams and see

/Applications/jamstix.app/Contents/MacOS/jamstix
running.

I don't see anything else in the Applications folder nor any logging to the console when I kill it and restart so I am a little lost.

Let me know what try and or what info you need.

If it matter I also have Logic Pro 9, GarageBand 10 and the Ablieton Live 9 Lite installed.

So, Jamstix is not showing up as a AUi or VSTi in any of your DAWs?

It turns out Garage Band10 decided to make enabling the plug in as unintuitive as humanly possible.

Hopefully this helps someone else as well.

Hi folks,

OS X users will note that Jamstix Manager incorrectly installs plug-ins (Jamstix and audioM8) to directories on system, so you must find and move them to the correct location. I have mentioned this to Ralph for update.

AAX (.aaxplugin) installed to Users/username/Application Support/JamstixInstall

move to > Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins

AU installed to Users/username/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components

move to > Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components

VST installed to Users/username/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST

move to > Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST

I would also advise one move/duplicate the Manuals to your Documents folder. They are found in Users/username/Application Support/Jamstix3/data/docs
