|
|
I need to do something which, I believe, shouldn't be all that difficult yet I am having problems with it. I have JS and JC playing along and I need to have JC play a simple and repetitive conga single bar pattern which I hand entered in the bar editor. So far so good. Then I exported it to a MIDI file and added a Groove Importer in JC, loading that particular single bar JC groove and expecting that JC would "jazz it up" and play around it.
The problem is that the groove import, even though its widget shows up only in the JC section, also affects the drum kit in JS.
Is there a way for me to import a groove only in JC and not have it spill over into JS?
I hope I made it clear what the problem is...
Thanks, -- Chris. |

Please email me the saved groove MIDI file you used for the import. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

We're working on this but here is a work-around:
- go to the first bar of the part with Jamcussion
- remove the groove importer
- clear the bar
- hand-edit your desired JC notes
- click 'Add Groove To Style' in the bar menu _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Your MIDI file contained the conga notes as well as some drum set notes.
Make sure Jamcussion MIDI import files only contain percussion notes. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
