I seem to remember something about this not being supported, but I'm not sure, and can't find the right search words to find it.

I've tried it for a Doobie Bros (sans McDonald) style song, and have run across the issue that the second instance resets all the song data on reload. I can work around this by saving the song from the song edit menu and reloading it, but I was just wondering if this is expected behavior....i.e. multiple instances not supported?

Jamstix 3.60 32 Bit

Cakewalk Sonar 8.5 32Bit

Windows Vista x64

I'm using the 32 Bit versions for now because the 64 bit versions seem to load my poor little (and oldish) laptop too much.

This setup is temporary until I get my RMA'ed Desktop MoBo back in a couple weeks.

As it is I have freeze the drum tracks in order to record more parts without too much clicking, popping and breakups. Jamstix itself seems to be the main culprit in overloading the computer.

Turns out it was something flukey with my laptop running Vista. The song settings for both instances save and load automatically with my Desktop running Windows 8.1 x64 and Sonar X1 and X3 x64.
