Hello. I'm not very familiar with Jamstix. How Compatable is Jamstix with Addictive Drums 2? I have a lot of problems getting phrasing on drum parts with AD2 and it taxes out my CPU. I spend more time on drums than all of the other instruments combined because I wind up going measure by measure in PRV to get the feel right for the song. Thanks for any info!

Jamstix works well with AD2 and SONAR X3. What is your normal work process? Do you usually have a kick/snare pattern you already know you want? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I purchased the XL AI, and Jamcussion expansions. I have everything loaded I think but I can tell it's going to take some time learning how to use jamstix. What I've heard so far is great. I have a tune I need drums on and can't wait till I hear what the drum part will be from jamstix.

Normally I have a good idea of a drum part I want. I will load a loop that fits the feel of the song then add the other instruments. I've been saving the drum edits till last because it's so hard and time consuming to get the drum phrasing right. That where I hope jamstix will help speed up the process of a finished song. I have posted tunes on soundclick and each one is a little more elaborate with the drums than the last. Going from Loops to hand played drums in AD2 on each measure. I did that with Autumn Leaves and the drum part took 3/4 of the time to do the song. If you want to check them out got to www.soundclick.com/bayoubill. There you'll hear what is mean.
