Jamstix 3 osx not playing Cubase 7.5

Just installed JS3 OSX, load a style from the wizard and click the lock in the transport. No movement or sound. Sounds have loaded. click on individual instruments and they sound. Any suggestions?

Playback is started and stopped by the DAW not the lock icon in Jamstix. The videos show the lock icon starting and stopping JS because the DAW is already running in the background.
