Jamstix just causes crackling noises...I use S1 2.6.2 on Win7, Akai EIE 16-bit soundcard with ASIO driver. Jamstix 3.5 worked fine and I have used the 3.6 beta versions, and I think the last one that worked properly was Beta 8 or possibly Beta 11. I don't know if this helps, but this is different in the rzdlog.txt from the working and non-working versions:

Does not work:

3.6.0:
PAB:64 Outs:16 TS:4/4 SR:44100 BPM:90 iM:0

Works:
Beta 8:
PAB:512 Outs:16 TS:4/4 UMem:637MB SR:44100 BPM:90

Hi Lars,
You're running 3.6 at 64 sample latency while 3.5 ran at 512. The lower the number the higher the CPU demands. Please set latency in S1 to 512 and see if the problem is gone. If not, please email me rzdlog.txt.

If the problem is gone, try 256 and even 128 to find the lowest latency that works fine for your machine.

Yep, I figured that...the strange thing is that I haven't change any settings in S1 at all between Jamstix versions.
