Think I have found a bug/limitation with controllers in Jamcussion...
There are separate minimum dynamic settings for Jamstix and Jamcussion.
However, when you try to set a MIDI controller for the DYN knob in Jamcussion, it actually sets the DYN knob MIDI controller in Jamstix.
There doesn't seem to be any way to set this.
Keep up the good work Ralph.

You're right. I'll see what we can do about it in a future update.

Still not fixed? Nothing since February? It's really a pain, as it's impossible to control it in any way during a song, so you're fixed with one value. Only 5 parameters show up in Reaper, 2 of which are Reaper internal stuff. Just power, reduction, timing. Even simple things like a chorus fx have loads of easily accessable controllers. I know you're busy on the IOS stuff, but I imagine that this would be a more simple fix? Just one more controller value DYN-Jamcussion.
Is there any workaround for this?

I apologize. We are revamping things for the unified Win/OSX code base, which also fixes the 'host close' bug that some users have with the current Beta. The OSX private Beta is imminent and with it we will also have a new Windows public Beta. Again, I apologize for the delay with the Win Betas.

As far as automation parameters go, Jamstix emphasizes mappable MIDI controllers, of which there are many dozens. They give greater flexibility than VST automation. We will make DYN MIDI-mappable for JC separately from JS in the next Beta.

Thanks for your reply Ralph. Even if the MIDI control changed BOTH the drum DYN and the percussion DYN, then you could set up 2 instances of Jamstix, but for now it's just uncontrollable by any means whatsoever.
VST automation does make control so easy, just move a dial and it's there. Whereas MIDI control takes a tiny bit more setting up, both in Jamstix and in the DAW.
Can I add a +1 to someone else's suggestion to make separate Power controls for drums and percussion. Maybe this would need to be an option, I'm not sure. However this can be worked around with 2 instances of Jamstix, so it isn't vital.

Jamstix 3.6 has separate MIDI mapping for drums and Jamcussion MIN DYN. We'll expand on this in Jamstix 4.

Cheers Ralph, nice one!
Downloaded the latest update, but haven't had a chance to actually run it yet. (Just had 2 baby boys!)
Are there separate power controls too?
