|
|
Hey guys,
Now that the OSX version is out, I need to host SD2 in JS3. Since I have not used JS in a couple of years (moved my DAW to an iMac), I don't know how to host. I've got JS on track 1 with MIDI Only selected in the Mixer tab.
I have SD2 loaded in track 2. But I'm stuck as I can't figure out how to set the MIDI Out of JS to SD2 nor the MIDI In of SD2 t JS.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Dave,
Hosting is no longer supported. You have to route the midi output of JS to SD2. I use Reaper so I'm not familiar with Logic and can't provide specifics on how to do that. HTH. |

Goes to show what a noob I still am. I assumed hosting and routing MIDI from JS to SD was the same thing. |

Hi guys !
I'm not using logic 10 but 9 but i would be surprise that it make really a différence. So i do step by step exactly what stand in the video but i didn't get anything on SD. Is there something that i missed anywhere to setup ?
I tried to plug the output of jamstix track to the input of the sequencer in the environnement window, but it seem like JS didn't send any signal to its midi output.
Can someone help me ?
I was so happy as JS came out on OSX and so frustated to be unable to get in working properly
Thanks in advance |

| Do you have "Enable Midi Output" turned on under Options? |

Before sending anything, i made a new try with a totally empty new project. It seems to work !!! I don't really understand why, but it works.
so i will have to investigate deeper in my non working project to find why.
I will sent you the log file if i don't find what's the difference between these 2 test.
thank's in advance for all the work ralph. Have nice holidays.
