Perhaps what we need is a big Sale, or a release of Jambassist or JS for the Mac OS.

Or maybe we need to chat about the new release of EZDrummer 2, which is beginning to look more and more like JS.

EZD2 looks great. They've picked a few ideas from Jamstix, such as 'Power Hand' and the redirection concept. It stops short of true A.I. groove creation and still operates off MIDI grooves but it's a great concept.

We have a ton of ideas for Jamstix (and even a separate new product) that aim to simplify usage complexity. Wish I could go into details right now but just remember the 'find groove' feature in EZD2, which allows you to enter a full or partial kick/snare pattern to search through its pre-defined MIDI library for matches. We're working on a similar concept where the complete groove is developed on such a basic pattern from you with nothing but what we call 'hints' (like a producer talking to the drummer in the EZD2 video).

Stay tuned!

Been playing with the new Drummer in Garageband V10.
It's different from Jamstix in terms of dynamic jamming ability (which is key imo) but it is very impressive for generating variable static drum tracks

You can even mute each part of the drum kit.
