I lost audio jamming with beta 10 and that is essential.

Can't find it in quickstart or manual, maybe missed it?

How do I set it up for Audio responsive jamming in Ableton Live now?

Edit: I replaced Audiom8 and Jamstix with latest versions but no joy, I've lost all audio jam functionality!

Another bug:
I manged to get up the controller assignments window (I think right clicking on a control) but cannot close it at all. Close button does not work.

Hi Ralph, 2 things I've noticed in the new betas:

1) Sub-menus no longer "fly out" unless you click on an item. Not a big deal, just something I noticed. The GUI seems a bit more "sluggish" in general. Again, not a big deal for me.

2) The Carmine drummer, if you set the frequency of the hands rudiment to "Every Bar", Jamstix freezes until I set it back to a different option in that menu.

Jamstix audio plugin server window visiable.
Access violations, multiple, module jamstix.exe.

Also all jamstix gui windows have a black screen, no gui elements.

Closed up project, reopened, click on fx to check out jamstix and make some edits.
No gui
"ERROR:Center does not respond"
Contact support for further assistance, emailing now.

EDIT- tried to get back to beta 8, no luck.
Reaper crashes when I click to look at Jamstix gui.
I can no longer get Jamstix to work, without crashing reaper.
Not sure what to try next to get back to beta 8.
Edit2 - tried rebooting, no help.
Before I installed beta 11, I backed up jamstix dll and the js3sl32.rtxc file.
Beta 11 does not appear to have overwritten the js3sl32.rtxc file.
I did not backup the jamstix.exe file.

HELP - can't run jamstix at all now. How do I roll back to beta8

So far so good on the Beta 11....found a small bug, but I've also found a work-around...

The problem is everything loads fine, but Jamstix won't trigger the drum sounds from a song I've been working on with JS 3.5....

The work-around is to use JS 3.5, "save song as", save the drum tracks as a template, then re-install the Beta 11, import the template into the project....It's a little extra work, but, IMO, it's ok as I've needed to save all these songs for extra backups anyway....

Haven't got to try the new beta very much at all, other than to make sure my projects load/play, but I'll post anything weird or any bugs I find...

OK, found a bug/problem in Reaper...

When I add an envelope for either the power knob or timing (for automation), Jamstix won't trigger the sounds in Superior....I'll do some more testing/playing around, but can't get either of these to work via automation.....

This is the same thing JS was doing I mentioned in my previous post....could be something with the envelopes, IIRC, the track templates I saved/loaded had both power & timing envelopes....when I posted earlier, I was just doing a quick run-through before work...

Guess I'll have to re-install JS 3.5 until we get these issues/bugs lined out, I've finally learned to use the power & timing functions (somewhat...LOL), & really like what both do....not a show-stopper by any means, as I can still use JS 3.5, but I'd love to get the envelopes working along with the drag/drop....

The new gui looks great, & the drag/drop thing has been missed dearly.....being able to load multiple instances of JS is great too...have to hand it to you Ralph, Jamstix has become one of my must-have plugs in the last while, makes programming my drum tracks a lot easier, makes 'em sound a lot more realistic than I could ever do by hand, & IMHO, I've not even scratched the surface of what this program is truly capable of....Thanks for all your hard work!!!! Great plug-in!!!!

Known issues being worked on for the next beta due in a few days:

1) VST automation freezes the Beta.
2) audioM8 does not work
3) Cubase GUI issues
4) 'Install Pak' not working (you can run PakInst.exe manually though)
5) rudiment frequency issue in 'Carmine' model

the latest beta jamstix fails for me quite often in reaper - upon first instantiation it fucks up and freezes - and then I have a song which is triggering notes sporadically.
