3.6.0 Beta 10 is now out!

This version finally synchs the Windows and OSX code bases, fixes various issues and adds some new functionality.

Fixed installer is now out. Just re-download and run again. Make sure the 'Audio Plugin Server' window is closed before running the installer.

The JS audio server window stays open even after I exit REAPER. I expected it to close automatically.

BTW, is there a "What's New" anywhere describing the new functionality?

The audio server stays open so repeated Jamstix loads are faster. You can close it if you so desire. Its idle memory and CPU usage are negligible.

There is an updated manual in 3.6 that outlines the new stuff. If not sufficient, I'll be here for any detail questions.

Help! I am confused about the cross platform part.

I went to my download page and I see the download for Jamstix 3.6.0 Beta 10. However, the download is an exe file. How do I download the mac version? Is it possible yet?

many thx for the new version, some things i noticed:

-the plugin server window is not the best solution, steals focus, stays open and is annoying if you're working fullscreen in your daw. Would be nice if it is, umm, not there?
-the good thing about the new version, finally you can have more than one instance of jamstix open, now that is cool! Mixing two drumkits and three different percussion groups together, all with single output routings...
what is not so good, the gui can't handle this it seems, it shows the wrong kits as soon as you have more instances of jamstix.
-as i mentioned earlier (a year ago, after the last update^^) please make the arrow of the main menu skinable, my skin is so ready Wink

only that component doesn't fit.

fyi, just tried new beta in Cubase 7.5 windows 7 64 bit.

If adding jamstix as a rack instrument, clicking anywhere on the jamstix gui causes the gui window to close

if adding a track instrument, the gui stays open, but cannot be moved.
