Hi-

Is it possible to do this for an entire song? The side stick doesn't seem to be one of the possible sound options for the snare in the kit window. I can do it for individual bars, but I was hoping to do it directly in the kit.

Also, if I remove the snare (which I tried during my experimentation) several other kit pieces are removed as well. Is this normal? I'll check the manual tomorrow.

Thanks,

Susan

In the kit editor, choose the desired articulation for the snare so you can change individual sound elements of the snare. You should replace 'Snare Center' and 'Snare Offset' with the sidestick sound.

Any thoughts about this? I searched the manual for "Remove from kit" but didn't find anything.

I can't seem to do that. I change the articulation to "Snare Center," but then I don't see/hear a sidestick option. I've previewed all of the available sounds. Maybe I'm just being dense.

Thanks-

Select 'Snare Center', click on the sound file name and select any 'Snare Sidestick' sound you'd like.

Hi Ralph-

I see what the problem was. The "Filter" box was checked. When I unchecked it I was able to see the other available sounds. Is the filter on by default? I don't remember checking that and I'm not sure why "Snare Sidestick" would be filtered out when I'm choosing a snare sound. I didn't find anything in the manual about it.

Anyway, problem solved!

Thanks-

-Susan

Does anyone know why just removing the snare results in so many other kit pieces being removed?

Thanks-
