|
|
I have a project where I use Jamstix in drum module mode, simply because it has a percussion sound I don't have in another drum plug-in.
Every time I load the project, I get a modal warning dialog that stops the project from loading until after I click it. It's telling me the brain and song editor aren't available in drum module mode.
It's a minor annoyance to walk away from my PC when it's loading a big project only to find it's not done when I come back. I'm aware of this now, so it's not a huge deal, but if there's a way to disable this warning, that would be great. |

I'll see what we can do about that. Work-around: close the JS GUI before saving the project. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks! That works. Good enough for me. I also learned something about FL Studio.
I normally keep the FL playlist maximized. When I bring it to the top to work with the playlist, it hides all the plugin interfaces - BUT THEY ARE STILL OPEN BEHIND IT.
I closed every single plugin interface in my project, saved it, reloaded, and no more Jamstix warning - but also, the project, which had been "glitching" when I played it on my slow laptop, now played much more smoothly.
So I'm going to have to be sure to move the playlist and close interfaces I'm not currently using, instead of forgetting about them because they aren't visible. |

I'm using Reaper 4.402 and Jamstix 3.5.1B8, both 64bit on Win7 64:
That does not work for me, as a matter of fact, I have to click the ok button on the dialog box twice before it will go away (with JS 3.5.0, I just had to click it once).
Reaper also crashes when I shut it down with beta 8... it didn't do that with 3.5.0 (that's the only other dll I have for jamstix3: I just recently upgraded from JS2).
(I should say that the dialog box pops up when I click on the effects button in Reaper to open JS3... I never save a project with the JS3 GUI open). |
