I can work with jamstix 3.5 in Cubase 7 for windows without any problems, but if I want to close the project Cubase freezes. This only happens with Jamstix. All other vst instruments work fine. My audio interface is the fireface 400

Have you tried the 3.5.1 Beta? It fixes it for many users.

If all goes well, I hope to update to a new computer, and load Cubase 7.06 or 7.5.

Any known issues with either of these Cubase versions and the latest JS version, besides the one above?

Thanks -

OK, here's a specific question:

1) Scouting for a new rig - does JS3 64-bit work equally well on Cubase 7 as on Cubase 8.1?

2) If I want to use JS3 on the new rig (I currently use the 32 bit version currently on an XP rig), how do I get the right things in to the new computer? Some options I can think of are copy/paste some files between the computers, or (since it would be a 64 bit version) download something from the Rayzoon website.

Thanks for any advice -

I would not copy files from a 32-bit XP JS install to the new machine. Just re-download all files from your download page (they are 3.5) and install from scratch in 64-bit.

Thanks, Ralph.

Is JS3.5 any happier with W7 vs W8.1, or vice versa?
