What am I doing wrong? It looks like it installs but doesn't show anywhere except C:\jamstix3demo and there is no exe file to open. Nothing in my start menu or anywhere else.
When asking where to put my plugins I selected VSTPlugin folder in C:\Program Files(x86)\VSTPlugins. I checked 32-bit to download, do I need the pro-tools also? |

Jamstix can not run on its own. It needs a VST host. If you don't have one, Cockos Reaper has a free demo and also there is one called SAVIhost. I don't know much about either.
I hope this helps.

So during installation when asked to select location for 32 bit VSTI plugin path I chose C:\Program Files\Image Line\FL Studio 9\Plugins\VST. Then when I open FL Studio how do I get Jamstix to open? I looked under plugin picker and its not listed.
Thanks |

I have never used FL. All I can advise is to check this thread that is specifically about using Jamstix in FL.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.

jtindle: are you on 64-bit or 32-bit Windows? Try running FLStudio via right-click->Run As Admin and see if it picks Jamstix up that way. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

It's 64 bit, do I need to re install the 64 bit instead of 32 bit?
I tried running FL Studio with the right click run as admin but still didn't see it.
Thanks |

I gave up on FL Studio, thought I would try Ableton Live Lite 8. Reinstalled Jamstix 64 bit and I can see AudioM8 in the plugin browser. When I double click this a small window pops up with Rayzoom audioM8 in it and a small box shows up in the bottom of Ableton Live. But I still cannot see the Jamstix window come up like I do when I click on EZ drummer.
I'm not too familiar with this stuff but man, that Jamstix looks like something I might want to use if I could ever get it to open. |

Please see if you have a Documents3\Jamstix3\rzdlog.txt file. If so, send it to me. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
