If your are just upgrading your version, it should be in the Jamstix folder where your previous install was. The file should be named "jamstix3_license.rztlkf". Just copy it to the new install folder.
If you are coming from the 32 bit version to the 64 bit version then notice that the "Program Files" folder is for 64 bit applications and the "Program Files (x86)" is for 32 bit applications.
If it is the first install then I think either it will be e-mailed to you or it may be on your Rayzoon downloads page.

I had Jamstix 3.1 installed on my WinXT/32bit latptop DAW, but it's screen died and I replaced it months ago with a newer Win7/64-bit system. I finally got around to downloading 3.5 today, and tried to install it. I ran into the same "no jamstx3_license.rztlkf in C:Jamstix3" error when I tried to fire up the initial Jamstix3 installer. The thing is, on the old machine (which I can run with an outboard display), I can run Jamstix3, but there's no file with that name - indeed no file with the .rztlkf extension - anywhere on the old machine!
I've been a Jamstix customer since 2006, and the only license file I can find in my email archive is the jamstix_license.txt file that was sent with the initial purchase. In the old versions of Jamstix, that file was dropped into the relevant Jamstix directory and was picked up (and deleted) by Jamstix. but Jamstix3 doesn't appear to do this anymore. I'm guessing that the Jamstix2 => Jamstix3 upgrade path didn't require a license file?
Anyway, please advise or please send me a new license file that works with JS3! |

| Thanks, Ralph! That did the trick. I'm still a little puzzled as to how I was able to run Jamstix3 on the old machine without it, but what the heck. |

You probably had a Jamstix version older than 3.3, which used typed-in license keys rather than a key file. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
