I need help! I am currently using Windows 7-64 and Sonar X2. I am creating a new drum part for an existing midi song. I am working with Jamstix 3 and Jamcussion. Everything seems to work fine, but I keep hearing a popping sound every 10 - 20 seconds during playback and it IS coming from the Jamstix track. Sounds like what you used to hear on vinyl records that had a scratch on them (but not as frequent).
My system is AMD FX(tm)-8120 Eight-Core processor 3.10 GHz with 12 GB ram.
Is there some setting I need to adjust that will remove this popping noise? |

I am going to hold off on sending that txt to you. Turns out that today and yesterday when I play the project/song I am working on there is no longer any popping noise.........not sure why.
I rebooted my machine several times (and tried tweaking several other things) before posting my original note to you to see I could eliminate the sound, or isolate the cause, but nothing seemed to help. Now, it's fine. So, I am going to keep experimenting.
I can still send you that log if you want to see it, but right now I am going to assume my problem is machine/operator error.
BTW, in my Jamstix folder I have 3 rzdlog.txt files as follows:
rzdlog.txt 10/23/2013 31 KB
rzdlog_1t.txt 10/22/2013 22 KB
rzdlog_2.txt 9/23/2013 1,228 KB
Is this normal?

Yes, that is normal. If you end up sending me the log, send me the latest one. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
