I am not sure if VST2 allows this, but it would be nice if you could make the host go to whatever part you click on in the part section, not just the other way around.

Reaper supports VST extensions that allow this....

Other hosts could take Cockos' advice and implement the changes on the host side - then we'd have a party! Until then it looks easy enough to implement for old Reaps.
