Hi,

I'm working on a track that has a 3/4, 16th dotted groove and I can't find anything, playing with the shuffle or else that match this type of feel...

Any idea on how I can sort this out?

Many thanks,
Stéphane

Can you give me an example (MP3 or link)?

Hi Ralph,

Thank you for helping. Please find 2 links below one for the piano groove and one for the "kinda drum groove" I've done through Piano Roll (but I'm not a drummer and obviously hard for me ^_^)

Trust me it's not... You can check the midi file here. It's a 3/4 85bpm

I don't mean to be a pain but I clearly hear a 4/4. I've taken your piano sample into a project with 4/4 at about 113BPM, added JS and did a rough match to the drums you sent. I also added jam blocks to emphasize the 4/4 structure.
Listen To 4/4 Sample

Let me know if I'm overlooking something here.

Hmmmm....

Would you mind send me the Jamstix song you created?

When I play it I have a feel of a 3/4 and it round well over when I look into it. I'm going to spend some more time and check that I don't fool myself...

It sounds like you're doing a 3-3-2 pattern, which would account for the 3/4 feel (over most of it) but why the count comes out as 4/4,
