Hi, I am trying to control Superior Drummer with Jamstix. I load Jamstix 3.5 and then Superior Drummer 2 into Reaper. Then I assign SD2 to receive midi from Jamstix. When I create a song in Jamstix it plays back SD2 slightly out of time and quite jerkily. Also, the SD2 kit sounds very low and sometimes the kick is missing. I also can't stop Jamstix from playing its own kit unless I mute it and then this mutes SD2 as well.

I have read the manual and searched for an answer but I need a step by step walk through to help me set up Jamstix 3.5 so that it controls Superior Drummer 2 in Reaper 4 correctly. I have all the latest software updates.

Thanks for your help.

Please do this:

- Kit menu-> Load Key Map ->Superior2
- check 'MIDI OUT ONLY' in JS3 mixer

Thanks for your reply. I have setup Superior Drummer 2 exactly as you advise but there is still a slight delay during play back. It sounds as if the drums are slightly out of time. When I save the Jamstix song to a midi file and load it into Reaper then Superior Drummer 2 plays back perfectly. There seems to be a problem using Jamstix 3.5 live to play back Superior Drummer 2 in Reaper 4 x64.

Curious as to solution for this as I will probably get SD 2 this weekend and also use Reaper.

You likely won't have this issue. If you do, let me know and send me rzdlog.txt.
