How can I tell jamstix to lay off the cymbals? I found a few settings for limiting crashes on start and stops of fills but jamstix is still whacking them too much. Are there any further controls to limit crashes?

and....

Is there a way to output jamstix's performance(midi data) to a midi track in Reaper? Then I could go into the midi editor in Reaper and further refine the jamstix's performance before final mix and mastering.

Thanks

Is this in fills?

Yes, you can either export the MIDI from the song menu or record the Jamstix MIDI output straight in REAPER (INPUT->RECORD OUTPUT: MIDI).

the excessive cymbals crashes are in the verse and choruses. Is there a way to tame the frequency of them? I would prefer a lot fewer

Thanks

Look in the bar editor for the crashes and move your mouse over one or more of them. It will tell you the name of the brain element that generates them. Turn down amount, disable or remove those brain elements.
