I read that it would be sufficient to simply move the data Folder from within the jamstix3 Installation Folder to another drive. When launching Jamstix3 it should ask for the new Location of the data Folder.

However, my Hosts Crash when instantiating jamstix3 with the data Folder moved to another Location...

how am I supossed to move the samples in order to save hd space?

With 3.5 you do this:

- move the entire Jamstix3 folder to the new location (not just data)
- open Documents\Jamstix3\sllink.txt with notepad and change the path shown to the new location
