Please disable 'Load-On-Demand' in the JS3 Option and see if that helps. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

| Still crashes on the track removal. It's much more frequent now, nearly every time. No longer seems to matter if I run Maschine or not. Maybe I got a false positive on that one earlier. Any other suggestions? |

Hi Ralph, I haven´t been around for a time for I was too busy in my daytime job. Thank´s for the advice and help.
This made it better but not perfect. I still encounter crackles when editing in the GUI while playing.
It is not so important because when just playing back it works. But it sounds odd to have clicks while editing.
I would not expect that behaviour from a software synth when adjusting the filter cutoff. Where is the difference to jamstix? |

I've run into an issue, probably operator error - at a certain point in a song I want to change tempo from 88 to 65, let's say. No change in time signature, I just want to slow it down. When I do this, Jamstix treats the entire song as having the slower tempo. I have "allow time signature changes" checked..is there something else I should do? Does it not work the way I am thinking?
thanks! |

Not sure I understand. JS is always tempo-synched to the host. So, if you think JS is playing too slow, it always means the host is playing too slow and the problem is in the tempo track/settings of the host. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

We're still working on issues with the next Beta and I don't expect it to improve crackling. However, we have another effort in the works that may. Stay tuned. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

After a long time without being able to make music I just got a new PC after 8 years (hooray).
Learnt that Jamstix is 64bit (I can install Reaper 32bit or 64 bit, both work great).
Just a word of advice maybe as I read this here - up to now I used the latest Jamstix3 version that could host other dlls. Would you recommend installing that one before the little problems I read here are fixed, or are those minor issues (as long as playback works, everything is superb for me)
Downloading 3.5 now, but I might have the 3.21 or what it was still - waiting or 3.5 now, Mr. Ralph-oracle^^?
- edit - after reading here I find that you are already at beta 8 . Maybe my question is totally irrelevant by now... |
