Any Sign of the OSX version? We have been waiting a long long time. Is it going to happen in 2013?

I'm super excited about an iPad version of Jamstix. I find that I'm using it more and more for music. One because with some new inventions like Audiobus, the platform is really coming into its own for music making. And two, who DOESN'T want to lay on their sofa and produce music? Cool

But not having JS on the device is sorely missed. It just makes it so apparent how much I rely on JS as a composition tool, whether or not it ends up on the final mix.

Can't wait for OSX version! I do everything on my Mac apart from the drums - when, like you guys, I switch to the PC.

Keep working at it Ralph!

There comes a point where you have to decide to get it done or just don't do it.

I've been patiently waiting for an OSX version to come out. I have even spent time getting it to work with WINE etc. but that's just too much to maintain so I've been trying different things. None provide the capability or functionality that Jamstix provides but I find that I am making them work for what I need done.

What I would like to see is some type of commitment that this will be done or that it won't be done. If it's not going to be done then we can all move on. If it is going to be done then make this a priority and just get it done. I realize that this is easier said than done but this is getting to be a bit ridiculous. If I performed like this in my job I would have been fired a long time ago.

I understand your frustration, believe me. Converting Jamstix to OSX has been a major job with many setbacks. We are a small shop so just throwing money at it is not an option. We are still working on it and we are sorry for the time it is taking, which is also why this will be a free update to all JS3 owners.

Again, I fully understand your frustration but please understand that there are limitations under which we are operating.

Converting to OSX has to be like starting from scratch so I appreciate all the hard work and the free update just underlines the Great Support we get here.
Thanks Ralph

Ralph, You've got all our support and sympathy! Though I do understand what a bummer it must be not to have such a great tool just because you're on Mac. Keep it up, my friend!

I was driven to Mac by the problems I had with Windows and audio - it was heartbreaking to get here and realize that my most important music creation tool hadn't been able to follow!

Anyway, Ralph, I know you always offer us customers 100% so I'll wait until you are ready.

Shame that it's not just about money, I was thinking of saying that I'd be happy to pay an additional fee for an OS X version if that would speed up release.
