|
|
Hi Ralph,
how can I change the note of a certain instrument when I just want to send it to another vsti.
The area ist grayed (browned) when I choose midi-out-only.
Another question is: How can I prevent to have all drums in one place (all of each over one another - 15 instruments in one staple).
I have built a custom kit to fit my needs (driving a independence drum kit) with several drums.
I saved it and when I reloaded it, this would hapen - all drums in one staple - weird. The manual does not mention anything special with this.
Hope you can help me

For the first question, my guess is that the articulation is set to "All". Try changing the particular articulation, then see if you can assign a different note.
For the 2nd question, are you saying that you build a custom kit, drag the kit pieces around the way you like them, but then when you reopen the project the the kit pieces have moved on you? I have not had that happen, sorry. |

| Same thing happened to me for a while with Superior Drummer (all the drums' being in the same place in the kit editor & all the articulations would revert back to what JS had originally...in short, the kit wouldn't save properly...), until I deleted all the percussion instruments on the right side of the gui (these were Jamstix...tamborine, woodblock, etc..)....JS would have "10 sounds missing" (just as an example, can't remember exactly what it said.....), but after I deleted JS' instruments/percussion, the kit saved fine.....It was very frustrating to say the least, as I don't use JS' sounds, I always use it with another drum vsti using the midi out......hope this helps...... |

Try loading the problem kit, clicking 'Reset Virtual Kit' in the kit menu and saving the kit. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Helped. Thankīs. Changing to on particular articulation letīs me change the actual midi note. The other thing is. I guess one should let Jamstix arrange the drums. If they are to close this happens (just a guess) but still weird. |
