I am having difficulty getting sound of Jamstix 3.5 under Cubase 7 64-bit.
The user Jamstix user interface comes up when it is loaded but there is no sound coming out and the user interface grid is show red "x"s.
Jamstix is working perfectly under Cubase 6.5.4 but under Cubase 7 I get no sound. I have tried playing the drums on the interface and no sound from them either. I have tried loading an existing project I originally created in Cubase 6 and it does not produce sound from Jamstix. I have created a new project under Cubase 7 with Jamstix and still no sound.
I am truly at a loss as to what could be going wrong. Especially since I have used Jamstix with Cubase 5, 6, and 6.5.4 without a problem. |

Please move the mouse over one of the crosses and it will tell you the reason in the status bar. My guess is that you don't have all the sounds installed.
Also, try running Cubase 7 via right-click->Run As Admin and see if that fixes it. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks Ralph!!!
It was a very simple fix. As you stated, all I needed to do was open Cubase 7 under administrator. Thank-you. This is the best customer service I have ever experienced. |
