Hi all,
I'm a brand new user to Jamstix and I wonder if anyone can help me? I'm trying to create a song in Jamstix which is in 12/8 time. At least I'm pretty sure that's the signature I'm looking for, it goes 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12. So 4 lots of 3.
However what I actually end up with is 12 lots of 2. If I put it in 6/8 time I'm left with 6 lots of 2 so the correct amount of notes but with the emphasis in all the wrong places.
I have changed the signature in Cubase, changed it in Jamstix and tried with allow time sig changes both on and off. I've also played with a few other signatures but can't get Jamstix to split up into 3 quavers a beat.
I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding musical theory or Jamstix or both, so can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance |

Have the host in 12/8 time sig and then use Song Menu->Groove Weights->Load and select 'Verdiales'. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
