Hi,
When laying out the drums for a cover song, where the drum pattern and beat is known, what is the best strategy to get jamstix to leave the fundamental defined patterns alone, but still insert interesting accents and fills? Should I insert a certain applicable style, and not drummer, or the opposite? How do I avoid unwanted hits in the basic groove from happening? Thanks

I'd recommend this:

- create desired base groove in bar editor
- click 'Save Groove As Style' in bar menu
- load a drummer
