Using Jamstix X4-25 and DFHS.

There are some jamstix mapping issues.

After opening my own DFHS mapped kit inside Jamstix via External VSTi, I'm attempting to set the jamstix mappings to trigger my DFHS kit. I have my semi-open hat mapped to F#0 and a punch ride mapped to F#2 in my DFHS kit. When I set jamtix Hi-Hat Half-Open to F#0 it does indeed trigger my Semi-open hat... BUT, it also changes my punch ride on F#2 to a semi-open hat in the DFHS plugin.

If I go into DFHS and remap the punch ride back to F#2, tha half-open hi-hat at F#0 becomes a punch ride as well - and they get locked into a loop - changing one affects the other, even after clearing the super-pads in DFHS completely and mapping from scratch all over again.

This also happens with my Snare Bounce and Right Snare. I like my snare bounce mapped to G#0 and my Right Snare at E1. But setting the Jamstix mapping to trigger my snare bounce at G#0 changes my E1 to a snare bounce in DFHS as well. Remapping the RH snare back to E1 in DFHS makes the snare bounce at G#0 a right snare too. The same mapping loop occurs here - changing one changes the other.

Frustrating. Sad

Happens in Logic 5.5.1 PC and EnergyXT Stand Alone so I don't think it's host specific.

Are you saying that changing the key assignment for a sound in Jamstix alters the key assignment within DFHS??

I don't see how Jamstix would be able to alter a key assignment within DFHS. I will try to duplicate this here. Could you send us the DFH file?
