Hi,
Has anyone got midi out routing working with Ableton live?
I have tried multiple ways routing Jamstix output to Battery on another track but it's not getting picked up.
I have a simple song with one style (import midi) and Midi Out only, JS shows midi is being output but Battery on the other track (Midi in from JS) is not being detected.

Thanks drk1.
I think the problem is below the Midi From Jamstix I'm only getting PreFX and PostFx showing up in Lives internal routing points, no jamstix.
Is there some other setting that needs to be checked to get Jamstix to be configured properly?
Edit: Restarted Live, and frigged around with the Monitor buttons and all of a sudden Jamstix popped up in the Internal routing. Now working! ty! |

You should see jamstix 3 at the bottom of th list under post FX.
There is an 'enable midi output' in JS options page but if your seeing JS sending midi then I assume that is checked.
I cant think of anything else. I deleted JS in my template set and then loaded a new instance of JS, changed the kit to Addictive and everything worked fine.
Sorry cant suggest anything else |
