Hi Ralph

I have replaced those files from the last update.

I load JS3.5.1(x64) in cubase 6, all apears ok, but I find Cubase has locked up for 1 or 2 minutes.

I can play the drums with the mouse ok, but Cubase will not run for a time.

Also, with my two monitor set up,wih JS 3.5 on RH monitor, the load song/save song etc menu, appears outside of JS on my LH monitor.
Not a problem, but different from earlier versions.(this also happened in JS350)

Regards and a happy new year to you.

John Heath

A quick update on my post.

I have just noticed that, the freezing only happens the first time I run Cubase in a session.
If I start a new project in the same computer session, JS3.5.1 loads and plays instantly.

regards

Hi,
It's my first time upgrading...
I could only find js3sl32.rtxc and js3sl64.rtxc in the download file, so I've copied those to the Jamstix3 folder.

jamstix3.dll (located in my vst plugins folder) was unchanged?

Thanks,
keys.

oh, btw, JS 3.5 doesent seem to create a revisions folder in my docs, V3.5.0 and V3.5.1beta gives a 'file not found' error dialog box on restore point save and v3.5.1beta crashes with a windows exception error if you then click on the song menu dropdown. V3.5.0 didnt crash, just error dialog.

You must have Jamstix 3.5.0 installed for this Beta to work.

Make a backup copy of these files in your main Jamstix 3 folder:
js3sl32.rtxc
js3sl64.rtxc
Copy the RTXC files from this archive to your main Jamstix 3 folder, overwriting your current files.

--------------------
At first I thought I would not need the js3sl32.rtxc file since I am on Reaper x64 and the file was not currently in my JS folder. That was a mistake as all hell broke loose. So I followed the instructions as told.

Looks good. I now see the Jamcussion Limbs in the Song tab, I thought something was wrong before.
fixed limb menu not working in Jamcussion mode
hehe..

Spoke too soon, Got a nasty crash in Reaper 64 with new beta. Error messages filled the screen...Had to shut all down. Ralph I know you generally like to get a .log file, but I can't seem to find one to send.

OK, just sent the crash log.

The log was clean and probably not from the crash. Do you remember the error messages?

I only remember it was the same message, but it quickly repeated on the screen about 20+times like it was in a loop, till my screen almost filled with it (like the old windows solitarire game when you won at the end) cascading error message.
I will try to repeat it tonight.

Hi Ralph

JS 3.5.1 Beta2 (64)

If I select a folder in the left pane, to import JS1 rhythms,
I imagine it should show the folder in orange in the top RH corner of that window(which it did when I first tried it)
Now when I try to import JS1 rhythms, selecting the correct folder does not work.
The orange text does not change to the correct folder.

MY MISTAKE , I HAD Groove import selected in JS3.5 instead of Rhythm Embarassed
regards

John Heath

Hi Ralph. I am having trouble with the song wizard. If I select a JS1 kit it does not load and I get an empty kit window after pressing create song. If I do it a few times I can end up with the words Kit and JC Kit crossed out in the song wizard.

I have lot of troubles loading kits. Maybe those addressed are in the update?

Kits are not loading, no error message. Just a black kit-window or if there's a kit already loaded, nothing happens.

Sometimes I get this: " Cannot assign a TGUIForm to TImage".

The worst problem is that I can't load certain sounds at all (for example right clicking kit pieces), such as "brush".

I use Presonus Studio One 2 Pro on windows 7.

Jamstix keeps crashing Live. Seems to be GUI related, as it always crashes either trying to open JS plugin or attempting to open a menu in it.
Sometimes it works, but then *BAM*

Showstopper. No problem with any other plugins.

Edit: This appears to be a possible conflict between my multi-monitor utility and Jamstix not wanting to play nice. Switched to Ultramon for now.
