Finally figured out my other problem and got it to download ok but now it's not showing up in SONAR X1 Producer anywhere. It shows they dowloaded to the folder but when I try to load them as a softsynth or just a midi VST it doesn't show it at all. Just wondering where it went Smile

Can you HELP!!!

Make sure the folder that contains the jamstix3.dll file is in the path of Sonar's VST scan option and then rescan for VSTs in Sonar.

OK! Got it installed. I guess I was a little sleepy last night Smile

HOWEVER< now how do I get my licence? Can you e-mail me or...what do I need to do?

Thanks, got it installed. HOWEVER...lol. Now when I try to install the drum paks I get this message

Installation Error: Cannot create file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\jamstix\data\Sounds\Tom Offset - 16" JS3 CS-s18.tak". Access is denied. Please contact Rayzoon support for help.

I checked and the licences file is in the Jamstix folder. Please help...again Sad

I'm getting a headache and need to record something...lol

For the Pak installation, please run your host via right-click->Run As Admin to avoid access denials.

OK! I got the PAKS in but now I have no sound. When I got to mixer and try to manually hit, say the snare, no sound. Also It wil not play with the project. I have a project already made from before my crash so all of the data "looks" like it's still there, but when I hit the play button on the project Jamstix doesn't initialize and play with the project. It seems like everything is in order but Jamstix doesnt Jam...lol. I've tried both using iy in normal mode and opening it in Admin mode too. Sad

Please do this:

- move the 'jamstix3' folder from 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Vstplugins' to a different place outside of (x86).

- edit the file sllink.txt in Documents\Jamstix3 to reflect the new location, (i.e. d:\jamstix3)

See if that fixes it.

Seems to be working ok now except for one project which is the one i've been telling you about so it may have been working fine from the beginning for all I know Smile

I can start a new project and it works fine, most old projects are working so i guess i'm ok. Thanks for all the help and puting up with a novice computer guy.

I don't know what happened but it seems to be working fine now. I just uninstalled and reinstalled project and now all is cool. Thanks for all the help and keep up the GREAT work. This is by far the most user friendly and versitile virtual instrument ever. I've paid a lot for stuff from Cubase and IK and others that do not have half the thought put behind them than Jamstix. THANKS!!!
